Headquarters Multinational Division South-East, under the operational control of Headquarters Multinational Corps South-East, is prepared to exercise division-level command and control of an Article 5 collective defence operation in NATO’s south-eastern region, based on NATO advance planning, as authorized by the North Atlantic Council and directed by the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, in order to contribute to the security of Allied territory and populations.
