BUCHAREST, ROU – “You have such an aggressive appetite for exercises. Congratulations! Everything sounds very impressive”, said Brigadier General Frederick Maiocco, Deputy Commander of 21th Theater Sustainment Command during his visit to Headquarters Multinational Division South-East. 

BG Maiocco, who led a delegation of 10 officers from 21th TSC, based in Kaiserslautern, Germany, was briefed about the mission and the main activities of this NATO headquarters and had an useful exchange of information with the Command Group of HQ MND-SE.

“Thank you for this wonderful visit and congratulation on all you have accomplished in the last three years”, said Brigadier General Frederick Maiocco at the end of his visit to Headquarters Multinational Division South-East. He praised for a future cooperation between the 21th Theater Sustainment Command and HQ MND-SE.

Major General Daniel Petrescu, COM of HQ MND-SE, said the personnel of HQ MND-SE put a lot of effort in making this NATOheadquarters interoperable within the Alliance and also put a lot of energy in growing the brigades under their control into the NATO environment.

The 21th Theater Sustainment Command is a United States Army logistics headquarters based in Kaiserslautern, Germany. It is the US Army’s largest forward deployed unit and a major forward presence, in theater logistics organization in support of Central Region, Europe.
 
It provides theater sustainment throughout EUCOM and AFRICOM Areas of Responsibility in support of USAREUR and 7th Army.
