Soldiers from Headquarters Multinational Division South-East (HQ MND-SE) represent the second training audience during Saber Guardian 2019 Exercise.

For 3 days, they were under serious pressure trying to solve all the incidents they faced, proving their professionalism.

BUCHAREST, ROU – There were 3 days of maximum intensity battle training; three days in which the soldiers had to react and respond to situations that were presented to them. They had to cooperate with each-other and with the representatives of the affiliated and subordinated units located in the training fields in Romania, to know each section and function, to analyze the situation presented to them, to get involved and propose to the decision makers the best course of action.

The biggest contingent beside HQ MND-SE was from the 2nd Bulgarian Mechanized Brigade, led by their commander. Their presence proved that training together enhances the partnership and provides shared understanding and vision of responding actions, necessary if conflict occurs.

The exercise was a great opportunity to increase the interoperability between the structures involved, show their determination and prove, once again, the strength and professionalism of all participants.

Saber Guardian 2019 is an international exercise led by the US Army Europe (USAREUR) and Romanian Land Forces. It takes part in Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania during 03-24 June.
