The newly appointed Deputy Commander (DCOM) of Allied Land Command (LANDCOM), Lieutenant-General Richard Cripwell, visited the soldiers of Headquarters Multinational Division South-East (HQ MND-SE) in the field.
This visit represented an opportunity for the distinguished visitor to observe the soldiers of HQ MND-SE train in real conditions, as they were in the middle of the rehearsal for Saber Guardian 2019 Exercise.
After visiting the soldiers and the entire camp, LTG Cripwell was briefed about the achievements, the future activities of this NATO structure and the important contribution of HQ MND-SE to the deterrent posture of NATO on the South-Eastern flank of the Alliance.
“Thank you for the chance to visit this tremendous headquarters in the field and see for myself the capability and the ambition of an extremely professional command! I wish you all the very best for an important and exciting future!” said LTG Richard Cripwell at the end of his visit.
